Hévíz is waiting for you and your family all year round

In Hungary the name „Heviz” remembers everyone to the thermal lake, because this is a unique natural and tourist attraction not only in Europe, but perhaps all over the world. The 4.4 acres lake is one of the world's largest thermal lake with peat bottom, which is  protected by a 50 acres of forest. The thermal spa is visited mostly because of its favorable effects of musculoskeletal disorders.  The majority of visitors come to have a regeneration.

The lake is heated by a geometric energy. Its temperature most of the summer reaches 30-35 degrees and in winter does not decrease below 26 degrees.

During the reconstruction the new building - which operates from January 2010 – has a four star hotel level service in three floors with wellness facilities (sauna, steam room, icebath, saltroom, pools), modern catering and treatment units (hydrotherapy, massage, beauty salon, sludge , physiotherapy) are waiting for the visitors.

Due to improvements Hévíz has „rejuvenated” and now is able to meet also the needs of young families, whose number has increased recently.

Indoor swimming pool

The Schulhof Promenade complex building has a place called indoor swimming pool or winter bath, which can be used in any time of the year by anyone who wants to have a therapy or only a bath.

The hospital established in the area, an indoor swimming terápiaközpontot of opportunity, of course, any time of year, guests may make use of the city. The number of indoor pools are nine (therapy pool, weight bath, physiotherapy pool, jacuzzi),their water temperature is everytime between: 32-37 ° C. 30% of the city area is occupied by a beautiful park.

The streets, squares, parks and promenades of the village are well cared and everytime implanted with thr beautiful flowers of the seasons. The inhabitants really pay much attention to the cleanliness, tidiness of the city and they are working hard for the cultured hospitality.

The Hévíz Gallery on  Deák Square attempts to revive the cultural traditions. Each year, it is organized at least a Beer and a  Wine Festival, with other programs of quality as well. The visitors should take a look at the Egregy Árpád-era stone church, which was built in the thirteenth century.
